- Powys Local Online will be bringing it’s readers an online auction, it will be free to register, free to list. It will be similar to ebay, we should hopefully have this set up within the next 2 weeks, if you have lots of things to sell you can either list them in the auctions or you can open up your own shop. Other features include bold listings, feature listings, images, and loads more. The auction will be there to be used so once we are up and running you will see an auction tab appear in the top navigation.
- Whilst we await to see if we can secure grants for the paper version, we will be over the coming weeks expanding the online portal to include areas further afield such as Shrewsbury, North and South Wales etc. Whilst each of the local portals will have their own content, each site will link to each other, the auction part will be included in each area giving it a good coverage area.
- If you are a business in any of the areas we cover then you can advertise with us with a web link in your area, this is at a special rate of just £30.00 per year, only 10 businesses from any one area can advertise in the web link section, also over the next 8 weeks we will be looking at introducing a free phone directory enquiry service, we are now building our database of businesses to be included within this at a special rate of £60.00 per year.
Powys local online will be concentrating over the coming months with it’s online presence, making sure that we further gain rankings with all of the major search engines, this will be done by introducing all of the above, and don’t forget if you have an item to sell but don’t want to use the auction then email your ad to us at powyslocal@aol.com and we will include it for free in the for sale section free of charge.
