An elderly male has died at a house fire in Orchard Street Brecon. Residents of six nearby properties were evacuated and relocated to Brecon Leisure Centre. However, they have since returned to there homes.Police initially closed the part of the road, which has now reopened. The cause of the fire is unknown and is being investigated by the Fire Service. Dyfed-Powys Police will release details of the deceased once the next of kin have been informed.
